New Mega Millions Game Launches October 28, 2017

Mega Millions is changing on Saturday, October 28, 2017. The new Mega Millions game will cost $2 and the matrix will change to 5 of 70 white balls and one of 25 gold balls. This change raises the odds of winning the jackpot to one in 302,575,350. Attached you’ll find the retailer flyer highlighting the improvements to this game.


IGT will be shipping new playslips to retailers on October 25th.  If a retailer attempts to use a new playslip prior to October 28th, they will receive the message “Invalid Playslip” on the terminal. Old Mega Millions playslips will no longer work as of October 28th and tickets purchased before the game change will not be eligible for the REPLAY option on the terminal.


After the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, September 8th the number of available multi-draws will be 14. The maximum number of multi-draws will be  reduced by one after each drawing from now until Friday, October 27, 2017.
